Over the Phone Replacement

Window & Door Estimates

Some people want to know how much new replacement windows & doors will cost before they invite someone into their home for a presentation, inspection and estimate.

Maybe this is you.

And if this is you; We certainly understand.

But the fact of the matter is this.

Nobody can provide you with a fair and accurate estimate over the phone.

They must first see and inspect your property with an expert set of eyes.

As you can imagine, it is easy to estimate the cost of just windows alone.

But when you add installation into the price things can get complicated…fast.

Anyone who estimates a job over the phone which includes installation is taking a big risk.

Because they never “really know” what circumstances they’ll be dealing with. And these circumstances make Over-the-Phone estimates a challenge – and unreliable.

There are many potential issues that can impact installation costs.

And then they often find themselves in an awkward position with you.

Because the actual cost can be hundreds, or even thousands of dollars more the original over-the-phone estimate.

And now you, the homeowner, feel that you were lied to…and that you can’t trust them…and you are upset.

Why would anyone be willing to to risk losing your trust?

We’ve even heard of some companies using the original estimated amount only to adjust the price in real-time during installation… Because they discovered “New Issues” while they were installing the new windows & doors.

Then you are informed that these “New Issues” make your job more difficult…and it will cost more money. So they adjust the price accordingly.

Of course, these on the job discoveries and adjustments can also happen legitimately. But wouldn’t you like to reduce the likelihood of them happening to you?
