Other Tools and Frameworks

The .NET Framework helps you create mobile, desktop, and web applications that run on Windows PCs, devices and servers.

These Build Tools allow you to build native and managed MSBuild-based applications without requiring the Visual Studio IDE. There are options to install the Visual C++ compilers and libraries, MFC, ATL, and C++/CLI support, and .NET and .NET Core support.

This package installs run-time components of Visual C++ libraries and can be used to run such applications on a computer even if it does not have Visual Studio 2017 installed.
