Windows 10 installation leads to porn shame

Porn folder plus Windows 10 settings means frank discussion with wife

WINDOWS 10 HAS HAD A RATHER mood-dampening impact on one man, and turned his collection of pornographic images into something that danced across his freshly installed homescreen and turned his computer into a cavalcade of skin.

Don't panic, this will not happen to everyone. ‘Porn' is not a new screensaver option in the quickly popular Windows 10 no matter how changed the OS, so you won't set it up my accident. However, you could expose it to others in a way that you would prefer not to.

If you choose to keep the sex stuff in a folder, for example My Pictures, that is scanned and plucked for pictorial content and a role in the slideshow feature, you might expose yourself.

Choose not to host your grown up material in that destination and you should be fine. Hey, don't take our word for it, and don't wait to find out how understanding your partner is about scrolling walls of pornography. Nay. Come with us to Reddit and find out what happened when someone else did this so you don't have to.

'FalloutBoS', the Reddit poster in question, suggested that Microsoft's free upgrade includes a free ticket to the bad books of a partner, but found that ultimately the pair was able to wipe away any messes and carry on as normal.

"Loaded up WIN 10 last night and left it on to do its thing. Woke up to wife asking why I set it to rotate all my porn images right on the desk top view. I have no idea how to shut that feature off and that computer is staying shut down until I do. Free windows and a free trip to the doghouse. Thanks Microsoft!" he wrote in his very open statement.

"Don't make my mistake, keep your private pictures out of My Pictures, no matter how deep you hide them in sub folders. My wife is very happy I admitted my mistake on this sub. She said I took my medicine and she now finds it quite funny. 'Ain't love grand?" µ
